Plot summary: An Uncustomary Love Story with Dark Fairytales

The plot of the drama seems like a fantasy fairytale, but it also has a dark reflection of real-life problems. Moon Gang-tae is a caring nurse who takes care of mentally ill patients but sacrifices her personal life for her brother Sang-tae.  His brother Sang-tae is autistic, and his safety and security are Gang-tae’s biggest responsibility.

On the other hand, Ko Moon-young is a successful but emotionally challenged book author who writes books on children. The tone of his stories is dark – as are his own life wounds. When these two characters interact, there is not just attraction – a deep emotional pull develops. Ko Moon-young shows a slightly possessive and aggressive nature due to his emotional dependency, while Moon Gang-tae tries to remain emotionally distant.

The story slowly builds an understanding and connection between them while dealing with their personal demons.  Flashbacks and fantasy-style animations make the storytelling of this drama even more layered.
