On the contrary, our hero is the rich heir Han Ji Hoon (Lee Seo Jin), a cynical personality with a detached and cold character for a definite reason because of his upbringing, which was done by his stepmother from a very young age.
As the story progresses, one day, instantaneously, he came to know about his mother’s illness and her immediate requirement for liver transplantation. This is when his path crossed with Kang Hye Soo and her daughter Cha Eun Sung( starring Shin Rin Ah). After his husband’s death, Hye Soo was indebted and constantly tormented by loan sharks.
Amid so many troubles, she agreed to marry Han Jee Hoon and give him her liver in exchange for shiploads of cash. The real twist came when Han Ji Hoon came to know about his illness and her real condition with the progress of the drama.

Exceptional acting and performance:
Moreover, a typical family tear-jerking drama with many scenes where the viewers will cry their eyes out. Especially the performance showcasing the journey of emotional growth of Ji Hoon when he found out about her tumor, and the transitioning behavior from a detached individual to Being a father and a loving partner is incredibly captivating to witness.
Also, the bond between the child actress Shin-rin ah and Uee is truly phenomenal and stands out from the rest of the characters; likewise, the bond between Uee, Lee Seo, Jin, and Shin Rin-ah.
