Destined with you: Acting and Performance
The acting and chemistry between the protagonists are top-notch and undeniable. Jo Bo–ah and Rowoon are both outstanding actors who bring life to each character. The series is well-paced and engaging, with a love story that contains both sweet and heartbreaking moments. Though some viewers find, there are some moments where some characters come across as overly melodramatic, the interesting twists and turns keep them hooked and guessing till the very end.
Various side stories of rom com between the two workers in a city hall green building, that is, Hong Jo’s boss and his boss’s lady, and another side story of the male lead’s father and mother, like Tom & Jerry, were super funny to watch. However, the slow pacing towards the latter half of the drama draws a little criticism. Critics also find the central premise intriguing, specifically the love spell and past life connection.
Science Fiction Meets Emotions – A New Way of Storytelling
The concept of this series is not limited to just fantasy. This show creates a perfect balance of science fiction and human emotions. Time travel, alternate realities, doors between worlds are all scientifically intriguing. But at the same time, the emotional journey of each character is also deeply explored.
