Healer: Storyline and plot
The storyline of “Healer” revolves around the marvellous Korean actor Ji Chang Wook, as the enigmatic healer with extraordinary fighting and disguise skills, the sweetest Park Min–Young as Chae Young–Shin, a peculiar, determined reporter, and Yoo Ji-Tae as Kim Moon-ho, a famous journalist haunted by past happenings. The plot is perfect and mind-blowing, which is totally beyond normal thinking.
The plotline hovers around uncovering the hidden truth about a ten-year-old incident involving five friends who conducted an unlawful pro-democracy broadcasting station during South Korea’s fifth republic. An unfortunate incident in 1992 connected to this broadcasting station tragically ended in the deaths of two of the friends, the crippling of another, and the disappearance of a child, Oh Ji-An.
Decades later, three individuals find their lives intertwined in the present, leading them on a quest to expose corruption and uncover secrets. In the following episodes, the story navigates between past and present, and how two children, after they grew up amidst a lot of troubles, come to know about the deep friendship of their fathers, revealing layers of all black and darkest secrets of the Elder, alias the boss alias, the mastermind who create betrayal between two dads.

Healer: Acting and performance
Each episode had thriller, the male lead was poised yet rational enough once his comrades calm him down in resilient situations. Another protagonist Ji Chang Wook has done a splendid job in illustrating his characters emotions and actions in the coolest and most probable possible way. Park Min Young is excellent as well. The romantic scenes are biggest bonus ever and the supporting characters are also remarkable in their own way, for there are people who will make you believe in loyalty.
Healer: What critics and viewers opine!!!
The story is firmly written and moves at a fast pace that keeps the audience awake and engaged throughout its run. While critics felt the ending was rushed, leaving some character arcs feeling incomplete, the plot is nicely done with surprises here and there, and from the start keeps the audience enticed and in suspense on how the three of them, who didn’t know each other, yet somehow linked together. Whoever has not watched it yet, do consider watching it; for sure, you wouldn’t be disappointed.
